DoctorWhoRPG Howtofly
Is this the same game as Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space?
It is the same great game! Because we’ve got all sorts of exciting plans for our range of Doctor Who games, we've updated the name to make it as clear as possible what it is when it's on a shelf next to some of the exciting new things we have coming up.
I already have the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space boxed set – do I need to buy this rulebook to continue playing?
Not at all! While we’ve fully updated the new rulebook with imagery from the latest series of Doctor Who, as well as new monsters, characters and gadgets, the game that you know and love remains the same as it always has done!
What happened to the Limited Edition Core Rulebook?
It was printed in limited numbers and quickly sold out! If you have a copy of the Limited Edition – well done, they’re exceedingly rare nowadays so hold onto it! We've heard a whisper that there's a slim chance we might unearth some unsold copies, but they'll be in short supply.
Is the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game still compatible with all the supplements?
Yes! There’s already a fantastic range of supplements for the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, so we made sure that the new core rulebook works perfectly with all of them.
Is there a way for me to get the new material without buying the rulebook?
Just like we did with previous regenerations of the game we’re working on a free update PDF that will provide you with the new rules material – including the new characters and monsters – without you having to buy the whole rulebook again.  But we think you'll want the standalone hardcover.
"So all of time and all of space is sitting out there. A big blue box. Please don't even argue."

#RPGaDay2015 Day 23: Perfect Game for You

The Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space RPG is pretty much perfect for me.

The Third Doctor Fourth Doctor Sourcebook    https://sites.google.com/site/vortexsystem2d6/home/doctor-who/eighth-doctor-sourcebook

First of all I love the setting. Who doesn't love Doctor Who?! Second, by the nature of the setting, one can have pretty much anything happen any time and anywhere.

The other major reason is because of the game mechanics. I find the Vortex system quite suitable for my gaming needs and likes.

#RPGaDay2015 Day 18: Favorite Science Fiction RPG

This is a tough one to answer.

The top one right now I'd have to go with is FFG's Star War Edge of the Empire and Age of Rebellion. That is by book count on my shelf at this time. In that regard, the 2nd would be Doctor Who.

But as for style, presentation, setting, rules, and artwork- Rocket Age.

That product line is wonderful. This is one of the most solid apologetic versions of the Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers genre. Great stuff.

Cubicle 7 is a wonderful company

Cubicle 7 is a wonderful company. The most evident reasons would be the extremely high quality game books they publish. Here is just one other less obvious reason:
As some of you may know we had a small, but significant issue with the printing of the spine of the Second Doctor Sourcebook.
The tiny section of the Doctor Who logo, which builds up as you collect all the sourcebooks was missing. Our printer thought it was there in error, and removed it. Frustratingly we missed this tiny change, and so the books were printed without it.
What we've done about it
We have arranged for the books to be reprinted with that missing piece. The reprinted versions are now in our US warehouse, and en route to the UK.
All subscribers will automatically be sent a new copy free of charge, and with our compliments. There is no need for subscribers to take any action to receive this replacement. US copies will begin shipping in the next few days, UK, European and "Rest of World" copies will begin shipping this month.
If you have bought a copy of the Second Doctor Sourcebook outside of the subscription deal and feel that missing piece of logo will spoil your collection, then please drop us a line on info AT cubicle7.co.uk with a photo of your book, and we will replace it for you free of charge. It would be helpful to us if you could use the subject line "Second Doctor Sourcebook Spine".

Thank you for your patience in this matter, and we're very much looking forward to seeing some photos of your completed collections in the coming months!
And they did it, just as they said. Here are the images of my first copy with the replacement copy. Thank you Cubicle 7!

9th Doctor Sourcebook cover

Seeing this image surprises me that we're almost up to the modern or current timeline. It shouldn't, though. We've been marching right along through the Doctors. AND 9th Doctor wasn't really that recent, now.

"This is how time normally passes... really slowly... in the right order..." (though that was 11th)
Today we're pleased to present the cover of The Ninth Doctor Sourcebook, the forthcoming supplement for Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space.
The sourcebook acts as a guide to the Ninth Doctor's adventures, including character sheets for his companions and write-ups of all the aliens he encountered. The Ninth Doctor Sourcebook is heading to subscribers soon, and will be available to pre-order in the near future.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, this Sourcebook explores the Ninth Doctor’s adventures on Earth and beyond. With detailed information on all the allies, enemies, aliens and gadgets that he encounters, as well as examining each of his adventures, the book contains a wealth of material for the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space RPG, and is also a fact-packed resource for fans of the show!
The Last of his Kind, the Doctor returned to Earth, haunted by what he had done to end the Last Great Time War. Witness the Earth’s destruction as the sun expands, unmask aliens in the British government and dance with Rose Tyler and team up with Captain Jack to save the world. Discover the fate of the Daleks, prevent World War Three and uncover the secret of Bad Wolf!
Fantastic!

Doctor Who Core Rulebook cover

The Limited Edition Core rulebook was indeed limited. An updated 12th Doctor themed Core Rulebook is coming out this spring. Here is the revealed (and quite attractive) cover art for the upcoming core rules.

As part of our celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, we released a limited edition core rulebook for the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game. It proved so popular that it quickly sold out with us – we shipped our last copies into distribution way back in October – so if you see a copy in stores, make sure you snap it up!
Well, today we’re pleased to show you the cover for the new core rulebook for theDoctor Who Roleplaying Game, which will be coming out this spring, and tell you a little about what’s in it.
We can’t have the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game core rules out of print (and we’re certainly not going to reprint the Limited Edition), so new players will be able to jump onboard the TARDIS with the new edition of the Doctor Who Roleplaying Gamecore rulebook.
The new edition contains the same great game, updated for the Twelfth Doctor and his adventures. We’ve added in character sheets for the Twelfth Doctor and his companions (from Clara and Danny to Psi, Saibra and even Robin Hood), new foes for them to face (including the Boneless, Robot Knights and Missy), as well as three new adventures.

Seventh Doctor Sourcebook pdf

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, this Sourcebook explores the Seventh Doctor’s adventures on Earth and beyond. With detailed information on all the allies, enemies, aliens and gadgets that he encounters, as well as examining each of his adventures, the book contains a wealth of material for the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space RPG, and is also a fact-packed resource for fans of the show!

Having survived an attempt on his life from his own future self, it is the Rani who forces the Doctor to regenerate once more, into an incarnation that is every bit as sharp, cunning and eccentric as his predecessors. Battle dragons, psychic clowns and out-of-control robots, match wits with the Rani, the Master and Fenric, and destroy Skaro, the home world of the Daleks!

And remember – you can always judge a man by the quality of his enemies!
